Description
Recover Your Machine. No recovery job you're likely to encounter while driving your 1999-2024 Silverado is too big or too tough for the Factor 55 ProLink XXL (Black) to master it. The pinnacle of ProLink design, the XXL provides a tremendously strong mounting point for 3/4" or 7/8" screw pin shackles or D-rings that grip the recovery strap more securely than a hook (which has one open side). These shackles are also around 5 times stronger than a hook. Resting solidly against the fairlead with its EPDM synthetic rubber shield preventing both damage and rattling, the ProLink XXL offers a 24,000 lb working load and experiences ultimately failure only at 63,000 lbs.
Tough Design. Toughness is the central feature of the Factor 55 ProLink XXL, which is machined from a billet of 6000 series aluminum (and was originally designed for towing/recovering heavy military vehicles). The 0.75" shear pin, fabricated from 6AI-4V titanium, opens with a snap ring so that it pops open and shut to capture the eye loop of 1/2" steel cables or synthetic ropes. This design is made in the United States (as are all Factor 55's products) and carries a 1 year warranty.
Application. You can apply the Factor 55 ProLink XXL (Black) to any 1999-2024 Chevrolet Silverado pickup with a recovery winch in place.
