Added Safety. Factor 55's Black ProLink E Expert Winch Shackle Mount is custom made to be a high-end addition to your 1997-2024 Ford F-150, giving you a safer and more secure shackle mount than ever before. Whether you're recovering your own rig or a buddy's, this shackle mount is the perfect way to take on the challenging recovery mission as it fits directly over most OEM tow hooks and easily connects to the pin or bow end of common 3/4 inch screw pin shackles or the pin end of 7/8 or 1 inch screw pin shackles. With a design that works with 3/8 inch diameter steel cables and synthetic winch ropes, this mount is extremely versatile but should not be side-loaded.
Aluminum Build. In order to ensure this mount is as effective as possible, it is precision CNC-machined from 6000 series aluminum which offers unbeatable strength and a lightweight, 30 oz. build. With a sleek, streamlined black powder coat finish that adds style as well as rust and corrosion protection to the mount, you'll be able to get the form and function you desire. The product also features a 5/8 inch 6AI-4V titanium double shear pin to eliminate splicing and an integrated EPDM rubber boot that protects the fairlead. Boasting a max load of 16,000 lbs. and an ultimate strength of 40,000 lbs., the mount will easily take on the most demanding recovery missions with ease.
Installation. Those with light mechanical skills will be able to quickly complete the installation of this mount. Just set aside about 1 hour for the installation.
