      Description

      Top-Notch Recovery. Thanks to Factor 55's Red Flat Splicer for Synthetic Winch Lines, the world's first splice on folding winch rope shackle mount thimble, you'll be able to easily take on the most challenging recoveries. Working perfectly with your truck's synthetic winch lines, this splicer allows the rope to exit the middle for the part and route back towards the winch in a 90 degree turn, meaning the splicer can be stowed groove side toward the winch to protect the rope from UV light, impacts, and abrasion. The splicer can also be folded flat against the winch fairlead to minimize vehicle frontal protrusion and even comes with added safety with closed system winching technology.

      Maximum Durability. The splicer is only 1.75 inches thick, but boasts a lightweight, precision CNC machined 6000 series military grade aluminum build and even comes with integrated EPDM rubber pads for unbeatable strength and reliability. With a durable red powder coat finish that adds serious head-turning style to your truck, the splicer is also guarded against rust and corrosion damage. With a design that protects the end of your winch rope and prevents a reduction in your approach angle, the splicer accommodates pin and bow sections of common 3/4 shackles and the pin ends of 7/8 shackles for superior functionality.

      Installation. Installing this splicer takes those with moderate skills about 1 hour. Synthetic rope splicing knowledge is required, and either the brummel splice or the long bury splice should be used.
