Description
EXTREME DURABILITY. The TTX Front Upper Ball Joint provides reliable service as a pivot point between the suspension and the wheel assembly, ensuring smooth steering and suspension movement. Designed for high-usage vehicles such as 1997-1999 and 2001-2003 Ford F-150 torsion bar suspension models, it offers enhanced performance and durability under demanding conditions.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. Constructed with a heavy-duty sintered metal bearing and a neoprene dust boot, this ball joint delivers excellent protection against contaminants. The green boot serves as a distinctive quality indicator, and the assembled ball joint features a durable threaded stud system with pre-applied nylok thread adhesive to secure fasteners firmly and resist vibration.
INSTALLATION. Installation is straightforward with a press-in mounting design and includes a part-specific slotted castle nut and cotter pin, requiring no drilling or modifications. The package also contains 180-degree and 90-degree SAE grease fittings for convenient servicing.
APPLICATION. Specifically engineered to fit 97-03 Ford F-150 models, this ball joint requires a boot installation tool and is not compatible with the original equipment (OE) control arm. Suitable for vehicles with torsion bar front springs.
