Moreover, these trim pieces feature all stainless steel construction, making them more than capable to provide extra protection against scratches and dings.
Rugged Build Quality. These rocker panel trim accents are made from premium stainless steel plates for exceptional strength and ideal corrosion resistance. These stainless steel plates are then precision-cut, offering an exact fit when installed. Meanwhile, the F-150 logo is then laser-etched onto the front driver side and passenger side panels. Finally, these trim accents are buffed to a polished finish for a classy look.
Hassle-Free Install Procedure. These rocker panel accents are preinstalled with 3M automotive-grade double-sided tape, making installation a hassle-free peel-and-stick process. Before installation, it is a good idea to thoroughly clean and dry the mounting areas before wiping the area down with a clean rag moistened with alcohol or acetone. This is to maximize the adhesion of the tape to your truck. Also when installing these trim pieces during cold weather to first warm up the mounting locations with a hairdryer or heat gun. This is because the adhesive is more effective on warm surfaces.
