Description
Enhanced Cooling Performance. The RIP Style Ram Air Cooling Hood (Unpainted) provides an aggressive, functional upgrade over the factory hood. It channels cold air to support high-performance intake systems while extracting hot air from the engine bay, improving thermal management and overall engine efficiency.
Construction and Appearance. Made from hand-laid fiberglass and resin, this hood features a smooth gel coat finish on both the top and underside to simplify preparation and painting. Durable construction ensures long-lasting strength, and integrated aluminum wire mesh inserts enhance protection and styling.
Installation. Designed to utilize the original factory hinges and latch, installation is straightforward but requires proper fitting and hand finishing before painting. No drilling is required; however, it is not a simple bolt-on and should be installed by experienced installers.
Application. Specifically fits Ford F-150 models from 2015 through 2020, excluding the Raptor variant.
