      Strict Quality Control. Richmond always uses first-run steel in their automotive parts. Every kit undergoes rigorous testing from the first stages of construction to the last, guaranteeing performance for the life of your truck.

      Recommended Upgrade. A handheld tuner (sold separately) can resolve any issues of speedometer inaccuracy that may result from changing your gear ratios.

      Installation. Changing your gears is a very complicated process and professional installation or advanced mechanical expertise is advised.

      Application. This Richmond 8.8-Inch Rear Ring Gear and Pinion Kit is designed to fit all 1997-2014 Ford F-150 trucks with an 8.8-Inch axle.

      Technical Note. To avoid permanently damaging your transfer case and transmission, be sure to match your front and rear gear ratios in your 4WD F-150. Take your pickup to a shop that you trust and plan on spending $250-$300 for installation of this kit, but be aware that the rate may vary.
