Features, Description, Q&A, Specs & Installation
Reinforced Axle Assembly. The Rear Axle Shaft Assembly Kit for Driver and Passenger sides provides an upgraded solution for rear axle shaft failures commonly seen in certain trucks. Designed to replace original axle shafts that suffer bolt shearing, this kit restores secure hub connections to maintain proper vehicle control and safety. It is essential for drivers who tow, go off-road, or experience daily driving stresses that can compromise the factory axle assemblies.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from high-quality steel, these axle shafts feature a robust design with externally-threaded male ends to ensure durable and secure hub attachment. The shafts have 35 inboard and 34 outboard splines with a diameter of 39 mm and lengths of 929 mm and 853 mm. The components come with spacers and spindle nuts but do not include additional hardware such as brake backing plates or ABS sensors.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and designed for ease of replacement without the need for drilling or additional modifications. The kit fits directly into the factory setup, allowing technicians or experienced vehicle owners to complete repairs efficiently.
Application. This kit fits Ford F-150 models from 2021 to 2026 equipped with a 9.75-inch locking rear differential, excluding those with a 3.55 axle ratio, and includes models with heavy-duty parking brakes. It is engineered specifically to address axle shaft failures in trucks with this configuration.
