Description
Premium Oxygen Sensor Set. The O2 Oxygen Sensor Set; Upstream consists of two new oxygen sensors designed to monitor and regulate the air-fuel mixture for optimal engine performance and emissions control. These sensors detect oxygen levels in the exhaust gases and send signals to the engine computer, which adjusts fuel injection accordingly. Maintaining accurate sensor function is essential for improving fuel economy, reducing emissions, and ensuring smooth engine operation.
Construction and Appearance. Each sensor is manufactured using isostatic pressing to enhance strength and plasma-sprayed for improved sensitivity and longevity. The outer shell is made of double-layered 310S stainless steel, providing robust protection against moisture and debris. These components feature a precision-engineered finish that aligns with OEM specifications for a secure and exact fit.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring no vehicle modifications or drilling, as these sensors are pre-calibrated and application-specific. After installation, resetting the vehicle computer system may be necessary to ensure proper sensor function.
Warranty. This product is backed by a limited lifetime warranty covering manufacturing defects for the life of the part.
Application. Designed specifically for 2015-2017 3.5L V6 F-150 models, this sensor set fits only these years and engine configurations.
