Description
Oxygen Sensor Component. The O2 Oxygen Sensor (Downstream) is a critical device that monitors oxygen levels in exhaust gases after combustion. It provides data to the engine control unit to assist in emissions monitoring and catalyst efficiency evaluation, helping reduce harmful emissions.
Construction and Appearance. This sensor is constructed with high-quality materials designed to withstand extreme temperatures and corrosive exhaust environments. It features a robust sensor element enclosed in a heat-resistant metal housing with a threaded end for secure installation and an electrical connector for signal transmission.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling, as the sensor replaces the factory sensor using existing threaded ports. Basic hand tools are sufficient to complete the replacement efficiently.
Warranty. This product includes a lifetime limited warranty covering manufacturing defects under normal use.
Application. This downstream oxygen sensor fits a broad range of Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles, including but not limited to 2011-2014 3.5L EcoBoost and 3.7L engines, and 2015-2017 2.7L/3.5L EcoBoost and 5.0L engines in F-150 trucks, as well as other compatible models such as Escape and Explorer.
