No ECU Re-Tuning Required. This Injen Power-Flow cold air intake’s specialized turbulence-free design and less restrictive air filters are responsible for its improvement in performance gains and don’t require re-tuning your ECU. That said, re-tuning your ECU in the future is always a good idea as a re-tune will optimize the performance of this intake with your engine.
Reusable and Efficient SuperNano Web Dry Air Filter. The Injen cold air intake includes a pair of SuperNano Web dry air filters. These air filters are equipped with a unique filter media composed of a less restrictive base layer and a proprietary SuperNano-Web media. These elements when combined with the filters’ pleated construction greatly surface provides maximum air flow and superior filtration. What’s more, these filters are easy to clean by blowing with pressurized air or vacuuming.
Rugged Build Quality. The cold air intake’s air intake tubes are manufactured from high-quality 6061-T6 aluminum alloy for durability and corrosion resistance in a lightweight form. These intake tubes are precision-formed to eliminate any turbulence-causing areas along their inner surfaces.
