Description
Durable Insulation Solution. The Hi-Temp Shrink Tube; 9mm x 50-Foot is designed to provide professional-grade electrical insulation for wiring and connections. It protects against environmental contaminants while offering strain relief, ensuring reliable performance in demanding automotive applications.
Construction and Appearance. This tubing is made from flexible polyolefin material meeting Military Spec DTL-23053/5C standards. It features an over-expanded design allowing it to easily slide over wires and connectors and shrinks uniformly to 33% of its original diameter without shortening, creating a tight, water-resistant seal.
Installation. Use a heat gun to apply heat within the range of 120°F to 180°F, causing the tubing to shrink securely over the wires and connectors. This process requires no drilling or special tools, making installation straightforward.
Application. This tubing fits universally; some adaptation may be required. It is important not to apply the tubing directly to exhaust components to avoid damage.
