PROTECTIVE HEAT SHIELD. The Heat Shroud, 12 AN x 10-Foot, is designed to prevent heat damage and abrasion on lines, hoses, and wires without requiring their disconnection. It provides a practical solution for maintaining the integrity and flexibility of your vehicle’s lines in high-temperature and harsh environments.
_x000D_CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. This heat shroud is made from 19 oz high-temperature heat-treated glass fiber insulation with an aluminized outer layer that reflects radiant heat up to 2000°F. The fabric is reinforced with aramid thread for enhanced durability, abrasion resistance, and flame-retardant performance. Its metallic, reflective finish also protects against oil, dirt, and road grime.
_x000D_INSTALLATION. Installation is straightforward and requires no tools or line removal. Simply cut the shroud to the desired length, wrap it around the hose or line, and secure it with the hook-and-loop closure for a snug and adjustable fit.
