The sheet is 0.031 inches thick with a smooth reflective gold finish engineered to reflect heat up to 800°F. The underlying glass fiber base can withstand radiant heat exposure up to 1100°F, offering resilience in extreme conditions.

Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires mechanical fastening or the use of a high-temperature adhesive for secure mounting. No complicated procedures or vehicle modifications such as drilling are typically necessary.
