Justin: The clear factory style headlights that we have here today will be a perfect choice for the '09 to '14 F-150 owners looking for a way to affordably clean up and refresh the front end of your rig. Now, these will combine a bright chrome housing with a 100% crystal clear lens, meaning there is no amber reflector in place, all for right around that mid to high $100 price point. Install is gonna get a strong one outta three wrenches on the difficulty meter here. Take about 30 minutes to complete from start to finish. But hang with me for a bit and we'll show you how it's done later in the video. So, again, I feel like these lights will be for the F-150 owners out there who prefer the simple and clean look of a factory style chrome housing and don't necessarily need or want any of the wild styling that could sometimes be the result of either a dark smoked lens, fancy LED lighting, or maybe a combination of the two. Now, instead, as the name implies here guys, these will adhere to that factory style recipe while eliminating that orange reflector on the sides, which does a great job of making for a clean look, but also giving the front end a refresh by replacing those damaged or faded stockers for, again, just south of 200 bucks. Now, construction-wise, you are going to find the chromed plastic base or housing that is then topped off with that 100% crystal clear polycarbonate lens. And, of course, they have been sealed up nice and watertight to prevent any moisture or condensation from building up in the lights over time. Now, the lights themselves guys, I do wanna point out, do not include any brand new bulbs. So, you can either swap over your stockers or use this as an opportunity to upgrade to maybe something a little bit brighter.Last but not least here guys, these lights have been given both the DOT and SAE stamp of approval, which does make them legal for use in all 50 states. But now we wanna segue into the install as promised earlier. And you're looking at a very simple and straightforward swap here guys. No wiring, no permanent modification needed. In fact, this might be a very short day for you in the garage or driveway. But regardless, to give you a better idea of how things will go down on your rig at home, check out our detailed walkthrough and tool breakdown.Man: The tools you'll need for this project are a 10-millimeter socket, a short extension, and a ratchet. Hi, everyone. Today we're installing a set of headlights on our F-150. So, let's get started with the uninstall first. So, once we've got our hood open, we've got three bolts to remove, two on the top, one on the side. So, let's use our 10-millimeter socket to remove those. Now, we can just pull our headlights straight out. And we've got got three connectors on the backside, just disconnect those. And we're done. And repeat that for the other side. Since our new lights don't come with light bulbs, we're gonna have to transfer our old ones to our new ones. To do that, we simply turn the lights clockwise to uninstall and clockwise to install. Now, we can go ahead and reconnect our electrical connections. Install the light, secure it with the three bolts, and tighten them down with our 10-millimeter socket. And repeat those steps for the other side. And that wraps up our review and install of the Factory Style Headlights with Amber Corner Lights, Chrome Housing, and Clear Lens for our '09 to '14 F-150 with Factory Halogen Headlights. Thanks for watching. And remember, for all things F-150, keep it right here at americantrucks.com.
