It acts as a robust barrier to reflect and insulate against heat from various sources, helping to maintain safe temperatures around critical areas like firewalls, transmission tunnels, and floor pans.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. This shield consists of a 10 mil embossed aluminum face bonded to a 1/8" thick composite glass-fiber core. It is backed with a high-temperature pressure-sensitive non-adhesive backing, ensuring durability and exceptional heat resistance up to 1750°F. The aluminum surface features a dimpled texture, enhancing rigidity and reflective properties while offering a lightweight solution.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward as the product can be easily shaped and trimmed to fit minimal clearance areas without requiring complex modifications or drilling. The aluminum side must face the heat source for maximum effectiveness.
