      Video Review & Installation

Justin: The Chrome Housing Amber Crystal Headlights that we have here today will be an affordable factory-styled option, available for all '04 to '08 F-150 owners who might just be looking to freshen things up, but without breaking the bank. Now, these will combine a bright chrome housing with a crystal-clear lens and will be both DOT and SAE-compliant for right around 150 bucks. Installation, according to the site, is going to give these a soft two out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, and call it a couple of hours to complete from start to finish. But, if you hang with me for a bit, guys, we'll walk you through that install later in the video.I feel like these are going to be the perfect option for 11th-Gen owners out there who prefer the simple and clean look of the factory-styled chrome lights and don't need any wild styling that can sometimes be the result of black housings, dark smoked lenses or an abundance of fancy LED accent lighting. Instead, these are going to adhere to a very factory-like recipe which will do a great job of giving the front end a refresh, of course, by replacing a damaged or faded set of factory lights for just north of 100 bucks.Instruction-wise, you're gonna find the chromed ABS plastic base or housing that is then topped off with a crystal-clear polycarbonate lens and sealed water tight to help prevent any moisture or condensation from getting inside or building up in the lens itself. Now, as an added bonus these lights do kick in a couple of halogen bulbs, namely for your marker and turn signals, but do not include your high and low beams. So, just keep that in mind when getting ready to make the swap. Finally, again guys, these lights have been given both the DOT and SAE stamp of approval which basically means they're legal for use in all 50 states. But now, we want to shift gears and just talk about the installation a little bit more, show you what's involved. So, without further ado, check out our detailed walkthrough and tool breakdown right now.Male: The tools used for this install are an impact gun or ratchet, a 10-millimeter socket, and a clip removal tool. So, the first step of this install is going to be popping open the hood to get access to the headlight hardware. There's not a whole lot of tools involved to get this job done, and I'm gonna walk you through every step. So, let's get started.I'm going to start out with my trim removal tool to pull this clip here at the top of this flexible air dam located at the top of this headlight. That's going to expose a little bit of hardware that's located behind this flexible air dam. Now that I have this moved out of the way, I'm going to take my 10-millimeter socket or my impact driver, but a ratchet will work just as well, and I'm going to remove the three 10-millimeter screws located along the front and top of the headlight.Once I have those screws out, I can start to work my headlight loose. Now that I have my headlight pulled out, you can see all of the connections here on the back of it. I'm actually going to unplug my turn signal light bulb socket. I'm going to unplug my corner marker light socket and I'm going to fully remove the light bulb socket with the bulb for the headlight itself. Now, I'm ready to install my new headlight into place. I'm just going to match up my connectors and plug them in for my turn signal and my corner marker light, and then I can twist my bulb and bulb socket into place, and then line up my bolt holes. Once I have all my bolt holes line up, I can go ahead and reinstall my factory hardware. And I'll tighten those down with a 10-millimeter socket. Finally, I can reinstall the clip for my flexible air dam and push that into place.Once you have one side of these headlights fully installed and functioning properly, you can repeat the same exact process on the other side of the truck. And that's gonna wrap up this review and install of the Amber Crystal Headlights with Chrome Housings and Clear Lenses, fitting your 2004 to 2008 F-150. Thanks for watching, and for all things F-150, keep it right here at
