Trouble-Free Install Procedure. This LED light rod’s included barrel spring mounting base will mount onto a location of your choice on your truck via drilling and some wiring work. Typically, this location is your bed rails, but you can also use one of the bars of your bed rack if so equipped. In which case, you’ll need an aftermarket roll bar clamp. Also, you could mount this assembly on an aftermarket quick release base for convenient removal when not in use.
