SecureLatch Auto-Locking System. The 2-Inch Receiver Hitch SecureLatch Pintle Hook rated for 14,000 lbs offers a convenient and secure towing experience with its automatic locking mechanism. It automatically secures the primary latch when the lunette ring is lowered onto the hook, eliminating the need for manual coupling. This ensures safe, secure, and efficient hitching for heavy-duty applications while reducing noise and chucking.
Construction and Appearance. Made from austempered cast iron, this pintle hook delivers superior strength and excellent wear resistance. It is coated with a battleship grey teridium powder coat finish that provides outstanding protection against exterior elements. The bright gold zinc-plated hardware enhances the assembly with durable corrosion resistance for a long service life.
Installation. The built-in back plate assists in positioning the lunette ring for easier hookup. Installation is simple and compatible with standard 2-inch by 2-inch receiver tube openings, requiring no drilling or complex modifications for straightforward attachment.
Warranty. This pintle hook includes a limited lifetime warranty, covering one year on finish and one year on parts to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
