Construction and Appearance. Made from high-strength, hot-forged steel and heat-treated for optimal wear resistance, this trailer ball features a chrome-plated finish that offers corrosion protection and durability. It includes a zinc-plated hex nut and helical lock washer for secure mounting, and fine threads provide superior holding power. The shank should be torqued to 250 ft-lb for proper installation.

Installation. Installation is straightforward when mounting to platforms at least 3/8 inch thick. The mounting hole diameter should not exceed the shank diameter by more than 1/16 inch to ensure a secure and safe attachment.
