Must Re-Tune ECU. A re-tuning of your ECU is needed when installing the Edge Jammer Cold Air Intake in your truck. This is to ensure your MAF is properly calibrated. An ECU re-tune is also necessary to realize the full potential of your cold air intake.
High Performance Air Filter. The Edge Jammer Cold Air Intake utilizes a high-performance dry air filter. This dry air filter utilizes 3 layers of synthetic filter media, and is capable of providing your engine with maximum air flow, without compromising protection against contaminants. Being a dry air filter, this component is low maintenance. However, maintenance couldn’t be easier; simply tap out the excess dirt, and clean further with compressed air.
Resilient Construction with a Ready Design. The Edge Jammer Cold Air Intake’s air intake tube and heat shield are manufactured from aircraft-grade aluminum for resiliency without the extra weight. The intake tube is crafted to eliminate turbulence spots, ensuring free-flowing air. The heat shield, on the other hand, is designed to keep the air filter properly insulated from engine bay heat, ensuring only cold air is introduced into your engine. Lastly, the whole assembly is powder-coated in black for added corrosion protection
