This cold air intake is designed to provide your engine with large amounts of cold air, increasing horsepower and torque, and enhancing throttle response. Featuring a free-flowing intake tube and effective heat shield, this cold air intake gives your Silverado 1500 with the capabilities to get out of any sticky situation you may find yourself in.
ECU Re-Tune Necessary. The Edge Jammer Cold Air Intake will require an ECU re-tune after installation. This is to ensure your MAF and this air intake is completely in sync. An ECU re-tune will also allow you to experience the full potential of this cold air intake.
High-Performance Air Filter. The Edge Jammer Cold Air Intake includes a high-performance air filter that offers maximum filtration and a higher airflow rate. This non-oiled (dry) air filter uses 3 layers of synthetic filter media, and is quite low maintenance. When you do need to maintain the filter, you simply tap to release excess dirt, and blow with compressed air.
Rigid Construction with an Original Design. The Edge Jammer Cold Air Intake is made from high-grade aluminum for superior durability and corrosion protection. The air intake tube is designed to eliminate potential turbulence along its structure, for free-flowing air. The heat shield, on the other hand, relocates the air filter to the coolest spots on your air system’s factory location. This original design helps prevent damage to the filter, while ensuring only cold air enters your engine. Lastly, this cold air intake is powder-coated in black for added corrosion protection.
No Nonsense, No-Mod Install Procedure. Installing the Edge Jammer Cold Air Intake into your Silverado is a no-nonsense procedure as the assembly bolts directly into your factory air system location without the need for modifications. This air intake comes with all the necessary installation hardware for convenience.
