Description
Keep Temperatures Down Inside Your Engine Compartment. These Titanium Pipe Wraps are made from Basalt (lava rock) that’s processed into a yarn before being woven into a pliable wrap. This process makes these pipe wraps capable of providing thermal insulation from temperatures as high as 1,800°F for direct heat, and 2,500°F for radiant heat – higher temperatures than that of standard fiberglass wraps!
Improved Engine Performance and Increased Protection of Sensitive Engine Components. These Exhaust Insulating Wraps lower the temperature inside your vehicle’s engine compartment. Lower temperatures mean cooler air available for the engine, improving engine performance. More sensitive engine components are also protected by diminishing the chances of heat soak. There are benefits to both drivers and passenger too – lower temperatures mean less heat radiating inside the cabin, resulting in more comfort!
Uses Only Standard Tools for Installation. Installing these Pipe Wraps onto your exhaust requires standard hand tools – a flathead screwdriver, a pair of scissors, and a pair of metal shears are all you need. Since these Titanium Wraps are pliable, there’s no need for wetting prior to wrapping. These Titanium Wraps are not reusable as the material becomes brittle after the first heat cycle.
Backed by A 90-Day Limited Warranty. These Titanium Pipe Wraps include a 90-day warranty against manufacturer defects. Damage due to mishandling, and non-standard usage is not covered. Please check the manufacturer's manual for more details.
