Description
Excellent Thermal Insulation for Your Silverado’s Exhaust. These Titanium Pipe Wraps are rated for direct heat resistance of up to 1,800°F, and radiant heat resistance of up to 2,500°F. – better protection compared to standard fiberglass wraps. This is achieved through a specialized yarn made from Basalt (or Lava) rock that insulates better than fiberglass.
Increased Performance As Well As Under-The-Hood Protection. By getting rid of excess heat, these Wraps makes more cool air available to your Silverado’s engine, resulting in increased performance gains. The lower heat inside your engine compartment is also beneficial to more sensitive components like electronics. Another added benefit is lower driver compartment temperature for a more comfortable ride.
Installs Using Standard Hand Tools. Wrapping your exhaust with 2” wide x 25’ long this Pipe Wraps is a relatively straightforward process requiring only standard hand tools. These Titanium Wraps are also pliable, so there’s no need for wetting prior to wrapping. Included four stainless steel ties secure the wraps in place. These Titanium Wraps are not meant to be removed once installed as the material becomes brittle after the first heat cycle.
Backed by a 90-Day Warranty. These Titanium Pipe Wraps are covered by a 90-day warranty against manufacturing defects. Damage due to non-standard applications, misuse, and modifications are not covered. Please check the manufacturer's manual for more details.
