      Description

      Top-Notch Dual-Layer Construction. Get the best heat protection for engine starters with the ONYX™ Starter Shield. This shield is a product of expertly combined advanced textiles to form two layers of thermal protection. The outer layer is a tight woven fusion of heat-treated glass fiber and molten aluminum. This is reinforced by the inner layer’s specially treated and high-temperature resistant fabric made from 89% silica.

      Forms the Best Heat Soak Barrier. The two-layered design provides a reliable protection against direct heat exposure of up to 1350°F. This makes the ONYX™ series a very popular choice for engine starters that are generally vulnerable to malfunctioning caused by heat soak issues.

      Quick and Easy Installation. The starter shield comes with a hook-and-loop mechanism and Velcro closure to make installation an easy task. Even better, there’s no need to remove the starter when attaching the shield.

      Adjustable Fit. The ONYX series shield is available in one size, 7”W x 24”L. However, its nifty material construction makes it very easy to trim the length and adjust it to fit other size requirements. This shield can also be used to wrap other vehicle components like fuel pumps and master cylinders.

      Backed by Limited Warranty Coverage. All products manufactured are backed by a 30-day warranty to make sure that the item you’re getting is free from any defect.
