    Description

Installing this Form-A-Shield lets you funnel heat to the right areas and away from systems like your transmission. Keeping down the heat under the hood helps improve your engine's performance and enhances horsepower. With Form-A-Shield, you can mold the insulation material around any part to put heat protection where you need it most.

    Durable and Insulated Construction. Whether you want to add insulation to your exhaust system or wrap your transmission, this Form-A-Shield is a great option. These adaptable heat insulation sheets combine a reflective dimpled aluminum on one side and an insulating basalt fabric on the other. By layering these two materials, Form-A-Shield creates a heat barrier that can hold up to temperatures as hot as 1400-degrees.

    Simple and Direct Installation. With this Form-A-Shield, you won't need any tools to add heat insulation. Every sheet comes with a pre-applied adhesive that even works on hot surfaces. The adhesive will stick on 450-degree surfaces, making it easy to work with. You can bend and shape sheets to fit around different parts, and all you'll need to do is trim the sheets to avoid any unwanted overhang. Adding armor against heat takes minutes and no mechanical expertise.

    Application. This Form-A-Shield is designed to fit easily on all 1997-2025 Ford F-150 models.
