    Description

    Shield Your Transmission. Some of your truck systems operate best at lower temperatures, and prolonged heat exposure actually does damage. To get the most horsepower and improve exhaust flow, install this Form-A-Shield sheets around your Silverado 1500's exhaust pipes. To prolong your transmission life, wrap the case in a sheet. This extra layer of protection adds heat shielding that will help direct heat to where it should go, protecting systems that need to stay cool.

    Hard Wearing Heat Shielding. Every sheet of Form-A-Shield uses a strong and reflective 10 mil aluminum on one side and 1/4-inch basalt woven fabric for heat insulation on the other. This dual layer shielding reflects excess heat and insulates the wrapped part for better performance.

    Quick and Easy Installation. Once you've selected the area for installation, the process is simple and direct. You'll want to trim the sheet to fit around the part, peel off the back and stick it into place. The already applied adhesive works with hot surfaces, so you can peel and stick, even if you just turned off your truck. For added strength, you may want to also use locking stainless steel ties to prevent any buckling or shifting during operation.

    Application. This Form-A-Shield fits easily on all 1999-2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 models.
