Description
Beefy Front Mount. There are plenty of good reasons for adding a front hitch to your Silverado – whether it’s mounting a snow plow or cargo carrier, carefully maneuvering a trailer into position, launching a boat, and so forth – and the Front Mount Hitch is designed to meet those needs. This hitch, bolting to the front of your pickup, provides a 2” square receiver that accepts the shank of many different devices and accessories. Custom fitted for Silverado pickups, this front mount hitch is SAE J684 tested for safety. It features a tongue weight capacity of 500 pounds and a GTW (gross trailer weight) capacity of 5,000 pounds.
Built Strong. Strength and reliability are core features when it comes to the Front Mount Hitch’s construction, which is solidly welded steel throughout. A cast, seamless, welded collar adds more robustness to the design. Co-cured in liquid Bonderite coating for rust-proofing, and finished in a hard, smooth black powder-coat, this USA-made component is almost immune from corrosion, as reflected in its limited lifetime warranty. The receiver is open-backed so that it’s easy to keep clean.
Application. Any Chevrolet Silverado truck from the 2007-2013 model years is capable of supporting the Front Mount Hitch.
