    Handling Boost. A lowered center of gravity gives your 2007-2013 Silverado the edge in fast, tight maneuvers, handling, and fast or even slow cornering, an advantage you can win by installing the MaxTrac 2-inch Front, 4-inch Rear Lowering Kit w/Lowering Spindles. This MaxTrac kit provides 2” of body drop in the front and 4” in the rear, but, thanks to careful design, maintains near-stock ride comfort despite the lowered suspension.

    Bolt-On Sturdiness. This fully bolt-on kit, with all hardware included, is USA-made for quality assurance – as its backing by a limited lifetime warranty from MaxTrac shows clearly. The components are mostly made out of steel, with a black powder-coat finish to prevent the development of rust or corrosion. The shocks have a twin-tube internal design that provides consistently good suspension performance, and are built specifically for lowering applications.

    Simple Installation. The set includes front lowering spindles and rear shocks, plus a 3”/4” rear flip kit, and are made for effective, straightforward installation so you can get your truck back in action fast. In addition to the handling boost, this kit gives your Silverado an exciting sporty stance.

    Application. The MaxTrac 2-inch Front, 4-inch Rear Lowering Kit w/Lowering Spindles can be used to drop the suspension of any 2WD or 4WD Chevy Silverados from the 2007-2013 model years.

            Aggressive, but nothing drags.

            As modern trucks have continued to climb in price and ride height, I was looking for an easier way to access both the cab (for passengers) and bed (to retrieve cargo). Looked a new trucks, too expensive, then looked at running boards (don’t like the way they hang down and collect dirt for pant legs and shoes). So lowering was the last option. The truck is never used to rock crawl or more than muddy construction yards, wet slippery boat ramps, snowy passes and pulling out stuck friends. So I was looking for the narrow area between will it lower it enough to be noticeable and don’t want to drag anything while driving? Max Trac kit was chosen. It has been exactly what I wanted. Front lowered a bit more than 2” and the rear went down between 5-6”. The wife can easily get in and out ofthe cab, and cargo easily reached in the bed. Those were the things I was counting on. Two bonuses: the truck handles much better. No body lean in turns, and better visibility down low. And the surprise? I am getting better mileage! I have picked up a 1mpg fuel economy increase. It will probably be a bit better when I quit enjoying the drive so much and take my foot out of it.
