Freeing up the engine cylinders from backpressure, the system wins you an extra +1-2 mpg at cruising speed, while putting +7% to +10% horsepower and ft/lbs of torque at your command. In addition to making your Silverado run faster, stronger, and cleaner, the S-type muffler imparts a throaty, aggressive snarl to your pickup's exhaust, while maintaining a pleasantly drone-free interior.
Lasting Value. Engineered for tough as nails durability, the Borla Stinger S-Type Cat-Back is fabricated out of 300-series stainless steel, which stands up not only to rust but to heat and chemical corrosion from the inside. The twin tailpipes (2.25" diameter) and single intermediate pipe (3.45" diameter) are mandrel-bent to remove all obstruction to the free flow of exhaust gases. This component has a 1 million mile warranty backing it, and is made here in the USA.
