    Loud and High-Performing. Getting into the thick of the action – and getting your truck heard – is a breeze with the +7-10% horsepower and torque ft/lbs gain supplied by the Borla ATAK Dual Rear Exit Cat-Back Exhaust when it's mounted on your 2014-2018 6.2L Silverado.

    Innovative Muffler. Snarling ferociously to announce your arrival, the ATAK muffler's multicore design – which includes both precisely arranged solid surfaces and different perforation patterns – delivers not only a hyper-aggressive exhaust note but also enhanced exhaust flow. Married to a mandrel-bent tubing system, this muffler vacuums the engine clean of exhaust fumes, improving not only torque and hp but also fuel mileage.

    Bolt-On Reliability. Featuring a single-inlet (3.5") and dual-outlet (2.25") design, the ATAK muffler is the core of the Borla ATAK Cat-Back. The dual split tailpipes exit at the rear through 4" polished stainless tips with an eye-catching rolled, angle-cut design. 300-series austenitic stainless steel (a grade used in airplanes) is matched up to a beefy all-welded build that gives the Cat-Back system immense endurance, as shown by its warranted million-mile life. This bolt-on part is made in the USA.

    Application. The Borla ATAK Dual Rear Exit Cat-Back Exhaust is made for use on 6.2L engine equipped 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado's fitted with the following cab and box configurations.

        I have a 2017 silverado with a 6.2l Vortex engine with an 8 speed automatic transmission. I was wondering if there had been any tests ran with this exhaust system and this type of engine package operating in v4 or 4 cylinder conditions?

            2015 Silverado High Country 6.2L

            I purchased this Borla ATAK exhaust and the KandN Blackhawk cold air intake together. Both of them together unleashed a beastly sound I was unaware my truck could make. Hardest parts of this install was the removal of the factory exhaust which I ended up cutting in 3 pieces and lining up the left side exhaust. Advise for future installers: if you have a tow package on your truck make sure to use the frame bolt closest to the front of the vehicle for the left side exhaust hanger. Also make sure to put all of the pipes on the left side together before attempting to hang the exhaust tip. Overall was not a bad install and well worth the purchase. Sounds ridiculous on cold start and when accelerating but mellows out nice at idol or maintaining speed.

            Best exhaust to go with.

            I’m really glad I pulled the trigger on this system. It sounds great. I’ve alwys seen the trucks with the dual outlet and one side is not level with the other but this kit was perfect. When you fire it up I think everyone looks for a corvette. I have had only good complements.
