      Description

      Ideal for the Outdoors. Attaching spare tires or large aftermarket bumpers to the rear of your Silverado can interfere with the hitch receiver, but the Rugged Ridge Black Powder Coated Hitch 12-inch Extension for 2-inch Hitch neatly solves this problem. A robust solid steel extender, this extension puts the mouth of the 2" hitch receiver 12 inches - or one foot - further to the rear, projecting it past large aftermarket spare tires or burly off-road bumpers. Its maximum tongue weight is 175 lbs for bike racks and hitch carriers or baskets.

      Quality Construction. Simple and beefy, the Rugged Ridge Hitch Receiver 12-inch Extension is manufactured out of thick, solid steel, precision cut to allow installation of any mount designed to use a standard 2" hitch receiver. It is coated in a hard, chip-resistant black powder-coat finish with a semigloss surface. This component is covered by a 5-year limited warranty from the manufacturer.

      Easy Installation. Installation of this hitch receiver extension is extremely fast, easy, and fully reversible. It slots into the standard 2" hitch receiver and is secured with a standard hitch pin, using one of two pin locations that permit mounting at slightly different lengths.

      Application. The Rugged Ridge Black Powder Coated Hitch 12-inch Extension for 2-inch Hitch fits all 2" receivers and therefore works with any 1999-2024 Silverado.
