      Description

      Handsome yet Practical. The intensely polished T-304 stainless tip behind each rear wheel when the MBRP XP Series Split Side Exit 2.5-inch Cat-Back Exhaust is installed gives your 2007-2009 Silverado a bold, dynamic look, as well as helping to create a deeper, richer exhaust note. This cat-back is made to produce a moderately aggressive but pleasing sound, yet also helps improve performance, too. +5% to +10% power gains - in both torque and horsepower - can result from installation, as the wide-open system sucks out backpressure and lets the whole air and exhaust system breathe easier. By cooling the exhaust vapors up to 200° F, the system also increases lubricant life.

      Rust-Resistant Part. The MBRP XP Series Cat-Back features a high-flow single-in, dual-out muffler and 2.5" mandrel-bent piping, both made from T-409 stainless steel. This steel grade has good rust and corrosion proof qualities, but may discolor over time. The T-304 of the angle-cut rolled edge tips remains permanently bright, however. The system is made for bolt-on installation using factory-style hangers and stock mounting points, and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

      Application. The MBRP XP Series 2.5 in. Split Side Exit Cat-Back Exhaust is designed to be used on the 2007-2009 6.0L Chevrolet Silverado 1500's, excluding Hybrid models, with the following cab and box configurations.
      • Regular Cab with the Standard Box - 2009 Model Year Only
      • Extended Cab with the Short Box -
      • Extended Cab with the Standard Box
      • Crew Cab with the Short Box.
