Description
Free Yourself from Worry. A high-end winch is a valuable item, one that a thief might snatch off your 1999-2026 Chevy Silverado, unless a Factor 55 Winch Lock Bolt prevents them. Installing in place of one winch mounting bolt, this Lock Bolt makes it almost impossible to steal your winch, and comes with a coded security key. Smooth and extremely tough, it cannot be forced with a screwdriver, and is immune to most security bits and all attempts to remove it with pliers. It can be used with any winch that features the standard sized mounting hardware - 3/8 - 16 - and has a 1.25" shank length. The security key unlocks it from either the end or the side.
Tough Build. The Factor 55 Winch Lock Bolt is made from extremely hard, stubborn heat-treated 1045 carbon steel, protected by a zinc chromate coating to stave off rust. The 60° head taper prevents pliers from getting a grip; they will simply slide off. A concealed spring lock washer pocket prevents a gap from existing between the bolt head and the winch plate, even if the attachment is not perfect. This bolt is warranted for 1 year by Factor 55 and is made in the USA.
