      Description

      Improved Recovery. Getting rid of the winch hook on your 1999-2024 Chevy Silverado has some major advantages, and the Factor 55 FlatLink (Black) provides the interface needed to connect your winch line to a screw pin shackle, which offers much better recovery characteristics. Since a screw pin shackle is a closed loop, unlike a hook, the recovery straps won't slip out suddenly or get frayed against the point. The FlatLink features a 3/4" hole for mounting a screw pin shackle at one end, and at the other has 5/8" grade 5 steel double shear pin. Either steel cable or synthetic rope from your winch loops over this pin without splicing, enabling the FlatLink shackle mount to connect it to the shackle.

      Convenient Flat Design. The FlatLink, made in the USA out of 6000 series aluminum, features a slim design with a total thickness of 1.75", so you can use it without moving the license plate bracket of a roller fairlead. It also functions with hawse fairleads. The finish is powder-coated for extra protection. The FlatLink features EPDM synthetic rubber guards to keep it from scraping the fairlead, and has a 16,000 max load (40,000 lbs. ultimate failure). Factor 55 covers this shackle mount with a 1-year warranty.

      Application. The Factor 55 FlatLink (Black) is suitable for use on the winches of 1999-2024 Chevrolet Silverado pickups.
