Description
Wireless Camera Solution. The Wireless Camera Kit for IOB Factory Display allows users to connect a pre-wired Furrion® digital wireless camera to the factory radio display of compatible trucks. It provides the ability to toggle between the factory-installed tailgate camera and the wireless trailer camera, enhancing rear visibility and safety when backing up. This kit is ideal for integrating a wireless camera system seamlessly with the factory interface without needing an additional screen.
Construction and Appearance. The digital camera features a 1/4" Sony Color CMOS sensor housed in an aluminum alloy weather-tight casing, supported by a steel mount bracket for durability and secure installation. The camera is designed with a 2.5mm lens offering 700 TVL resolution for clear images. The housing is IP69 rated, making it waterproof, shockproof, and dustproof. It includes 12 infrared LEDs to provide superior night vision capabilities with zero lux minimum illumination.
Installation. Installation involves removing the factory radio to access the camera connector for installing the video switcher harness and wireless receiver. The camera mounts easily using a Furrion® compatible adapter bracket and plugs directly into the existing prewired trailer connection, with no drilling or additional wiring required at the camera side.
Warranty. The kit is backed by a three-year industry-leading warranty, providing confidence in construction quality and reliability.
Application. Specifically designed for 2014–2018 Silverado 1500 models equipped with factory-installed tailgate cameras and the IOB factory radio display, this product supports seamless integration with factory systems and requires the factory rear view camera to be present.
