So Bushwacker's Pocket Style flares we're taking a look at should definitely appeal to any F-150 owner out there that's looking to get increased clearance and coverage over your factory flare. Not only that, to get into something that's going to be pre-painted to color-match your truck and make it look that much more aggressive. But one of the greatest things about fender flares for the 2015 through current F-150 is the fact that they're going to install with little to no effort at all. For that, I'm going to be giving them a very easy one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter here, and about an hour's worth of wrenching. I'm going to show you how, coming up soon. These are going to be one of your pricier, as well as premier options for fender flares. That's primarily going to be due to the fact that they will be pre-painted to match your truck. Bushwacker will have these manufactured out of their 2000 Dura-Flex material. That's going to have a little bit more rubber compound in there, and it is going to be stronger than your typical ABS-style plastic, which essentially means that these are going to be able to take a beating, be it on or off-road. Now, premium materials and a U.S.-built product is going to make these one of the most expensive options on the website at the time of shooting this video, and you should expect to be spending $850 to get into this set. Now, while that might sound like it's a little bit on the higher side here, guys, take into consideration that their standard Pocket Style flare in matte black runs about $500. If you took it down to your local dealership or paint and body shop, you're probably going to be looking at another $300 to $400 to get them prepped, painted, and then installed on your truck. In my personal opinion, I think it's a bargain. But switching gears to the installation, you're looking at a very easy one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter here, and about an hour job with basic hand tools. So getting started, before you even take your new flares to your F-150, what you're going to want to do is take the provided rubber edge seal trim, and then work that around the back of the flare itself. Then, cut off any excess. After you're done there, you can take your provided stainless steel hardware, and then simply work them through the holes around the fender flare. You can then remove your factory installed trim, if it was optioned. Then, simply work this on, and then use the supplied clips and hardware, tighten them down, and you're good to go. So that'll conclude the Installation segment and my review of Bushwacker's pre-painted Pocket Style fender flares, fitting your 2015 through 2017 F-150, available right here at americantrucks.com.
