Brembo draws upon its expertise in creating high-performance braking systems to give your truck a big brake kit engineered to deliver superior stopping power. This translates to outstanding braking performance on the tracks and enhanced control on the road.
Advanced Radial Mount 8-Piston Calipers. This GT series’ included calipers’ advanced 8-piston design provides optimum clamping force, ensuring your truck is capable of stopping on a dime. These calipers also feature a radial-mounted design, eliminating flex for an excellent pedal feel and outstanding braking response. Moreover, these calipers are cast from high-grade aluminum, making them relatively lightweight, and are finished in a black powder coating with the classic Brembo logo.
Cross Drilled and Vented 2-Piece Rotor Design. These big brake kits utilize 2-piece floating rotors, offering superior structural stability even during rapid braking cycles. Additionally, these rotors include internal vents and precise cross-drillings for efficient cooling which greatly minimizes the chances of brake fade.
Superior FM1000 Brake Pads. A big brake kit can’t be a big brake kit without proper pads and this Brembo GT series kit certainly delivers in this area in the form of FM1000 brake pads. These brake pads are outfitted with a specially formulated friction that produces an impressive pedal feel. Moreover, these pads are engineered to work perfectly with the kit’s calipers and rotors, delivering maximum braking force. What’s more, these pads generate minimal dust and noise, preserving everyday driving manners.
Straightforward Install Procedure. This front big brake kit installs into your F-150’s factory brake locations. You may need to make minor modifications to the OEM steering knuckles to achieve an ideal fit. Besides this potential step, installation is a relatively straightforward procedure requiring just standard hand tools.
Complete Front Big Brake Kit. This Brembo GT Series front big brake kit comes with a pair of 8-piston calipers, a pair of vented and cross-drilled 2-piece floating rotors, and four FM1000 brake pads. Application Notes. This Brembo front big brake kit will not work with lifted trucks since the increased ride height could damage the included brake lines.
