Description
High Performance Torque Converter. The Boss Hog LS 6L80E Night Stalker Series Lock-Up Torque Converter; 35-Spline; Stock Stall is engineered to optimize power transfer in vehicles equipped with the 6L80E or 6L90E transmissions. It delivers excellent driving characteristics with a stock stall speed, ensuring smooth and efficient operation without added stall. This torque converter helps maintain transmission durability and performance under typical driving conditions.
Construction and Appearance. Built with a factory 12.5-inch core, this converter features a hardened chrome moly impeller hub and a 36 spline modified heavy-duty stator. It includes Torrington style incased bearings and an oversized extreme duty lock-up liner. Each unit is leak and pressure tested, digitally balanced, and finished with 4 corner tac welded fins or furnace brazed for superior heat dissipation.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, designed to fit the 2-step input shaft without the need for drilling. Proper torque specifications should be followed, and the use of blue Loctite is recommended for secure assembly.
Application. Fits 10-15 V8 Camaro, ensuring compatibility with factory bolt circles and shaft splines for seamless integration.
