Innovative Running Board Design. Bestop Powerboard Automatic Running Boards are designed to keep your Silverado’s aggressive stance while providing an innovative way to enter and exit your truck. This is achieved by automatically lowering when the door is opened and retracting back up when it closes. Once retracted, Bestop Powerboard Automatic Running Boards are inconspicuously tucked away underneath your truck, maintaining its ground clearance.
Robust All-Aluminum Construction. Bestop Powerboard Automatic Running Boards are crafted from high-grade aluminum for corrosion resistance. The linkage arms are constructed from high-strength die-cast aluminum that’s rated to take up to 600 lbs. of loads per side. Additionally, Bestop Powerboard Automatic Running Boards are finished in a chip-resistant black powder coat that gives the running boards a slip-resistant surface as well as added protection.
Safety Engineered. To prevent legs and arms from getting caught in the running boards when retracting, Bestop Powerboard Automatic Running Boards are fitted with an anti-pinch safety feature that works by sensing pressure on the boards and stopping the unit from retracting. Four LED lights – 2 per side – are included and mounted on the linkage, illuminating the running boards at night. Finally, all the electronic components of Bestop Powerboard Automatic Running Boards are weather-proof, ensuring consistent performance year after year.
