Description
Intense Style and Handling for the Streets. Give your Silverado an intense sport truck style with the Belltech’s Lowering Kit; 3 to 4-Inch Front / 7-Inch Rear. This kit is engineered to lower your front by 3 to 4 inches and 7 inches at the rear. The result is a leveled and lowered stance to give your ride a distinct sport truck. What’s more, this dropped height also lowers your truck’s center of gravity, improving its handling stability and feel, especially when cornering.
Rigid Front Lowering Springs with Spring Distance Spacers. Dropping your truck’s front is made possible by a pair of lowering springs and spring distance spacers. These components allow you to lower your ride height by 3 to 4 inches by using one or more of the included spacers with the springs. Specifically, the included spring distance spacers are designed to provide lift in 0.50-inch increments, allowing you to get the ride height you want. Meanwhile, the springs are made from high-quality spring steel and are finished in a rust-resistant coating to improve its service life.
Wear Resistant Front Drop Spindles. Lowering your front will consequently change its steering geometry. To this end, this kit includes a pair of front drop spindles. These spindles are engineered to compensate for your new lowered height by re-positioning the spindle pin higher, ensuring steering geometry remains at ideal levels. Additionally, these spindles are manufactured from high-grade ductile iron for maximum strength.
Rear Flip Kit. This lowering kit takes care of dropping the rear via a rear flip kit. This flip kit is designed to provide 7 inches of drop at the rear by relocating your axle over the leaf springs. More importantly, this kit includes all the parts you need to perform a proper rear flip including axle saddles, pinion shims, mounting shackles, and even a transmission spacer.
Direct Install Procedure. The individual components included in this kit are designed to mount directly onto preexisting locations on your truck with some cutting and trimming involved. That said, you will need a complete set of mechanic’s tools and advanced mechanical skills and knowledge. This is to ensure a more efficient install.
