Description
Performance Upgrade. The BDS Tubular Front Upper Control Arms improve wheel travel and suspension articulation on stock height, leveled, and lifted 4WD Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 trucks from 2019 through 2026. They replace the stock OE upper control arms to enhance vehicle handling by maintaining proper ball joint positioning with an indexed cup and adding 1 to 2 degrees of caster, improving stability and alignment in off-road or lifted applications.
Construction and Appearance. These control arms are constructed from durable 1.5-inch outer diameter steel tubing with .120-inch wall thickness, providing superior strength and longevity compared to stock components. They feature factory-style rubber bushings designed for long-lasting, maintenance-free operation, along with high-quality greaseable ball joints protected by caps to keep out debris. The arms come fully assembled and ready for immediate installation.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and typically requires moderate mechanical skill. It generally takes 2 to 3 hours to complete and does not require drilling, making it an efficient upgrade for professional installers or experienced enthusiasts.
Application. Designed specifically for 2019-2026 4WD Silverado 1500 models, these upper control arms support a range of lift heights from stock to 6.5 inches, with compatibility for most leveling kits and BDS suspension systems except ARC kits.
