Suspension Lift Upgrade. The BDS 6-Inch Suspension Lift Kit enhances capability and offroad performance of the 2006-2008 Dodge RAM 1500 4WD trucks by increasing ground clearance by six inches. It allows for larger tires up to 37 inches while maintaining proper suspension geometry and steering function for improved handling on and off the road.

Construction and Appearance. This kit features heavy duty, 1/4-inch thick laser-cut steel crossmembers and high-arched steel components for strength and protection. CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles and heavy duty cast steel lift blocks ensure durability and correct steering geometry. Rear shock options include NX2 Nitro Series or FOX 2.0 IFP Performance Series gas shocks with an extruded aluminum body and internal floating piston design for enhanced performance and durability.

Installation. Installation requires moderate skill and takes approximately 10 hours. Specialty tools such as a reciprocating saw and strut compressor are needed. Vehicle-specific modifications may include removal of the OE lower skid plate on TRX models.

Warranty. This lift kit includes a Factory Protection Plus drivetrain warranty for peace of mind.

Application. Designed specifically for 2006-2008 4WD RAM 1500 trucks, excluding Mega Cab models, the kit is compatible with ESC systems and is FMVSS No.126 compliant. It is not recommended for AWD models. Stock 17-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled after lift, but stock 20-inch wheels can be used with stock tires. Some fitment restrictions apply.
