The BDS 6-Inch Suspension Lift Kit is engineered to elevate 2013-2018 RAM 1500 4WD trucks by increasing ground clearance and allowing the use of larger tires, up to 37 inches, which enhances off-road capability and vehicle stance. This comprehensive kit improves suspension and steering geometry for balanced on-road handling while providing the strength and protection needed for demanding terrain.

Construction and Appearance. Featuring heavy duty laser-cut 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers front and rear for maximum ground clearance, the kit includes multipiece differential relocation brackets and heavy-duty skid plates for off-road protection. It comes with CNC machined ductile iron steering knuckles with replacement tie rod ends to correct steering geometry and maintain electronic stability control compatibility. Additional components such as sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, stainless steel braided brake lines, and CV spacers are included. The shocks are available in NX2 Nitro Series gas or FOX 2.0 IFP performance variants, utilizing impact-extruded aluminum bodies with anodized finishes for durability and corrosion resistance. Powder coat finishes protect brackets and skid plates against off-road abuse.

Installation. Installation is moderately difficult with an estimated time of about 10 hours. The process mainly involves bolt-on assembly with no drilling required, making it suitable for experienced mechanics or professional installers.

Warranty. The kit includes a factory protection plus drivetrain warranty for added peace of mind.

Application. Specifically designed to fit 2013-2018 4WD RAM 1500 models. This kit is not recommended for AWD, air suspension, or TRX models due to design considerations and performance compatibility.
