Description
Enhanced Suspension Performance. The BDS 6-Inch Suspension Lift Kit with Rear Progressive Rate Coil Springs and NX2 Nitro Shocks elevates the 2012 RAM 1500 4WD to provide superior off-road capability, improved stance, and clearance for larger tires up to 37 inches. This comprehensive kit optimizes suspension and steering geometry, ensuring responsive handling and increased ground clearance for serious off-road performance.
Construction and Appearance. The kit features high-clearance crossmembers made from quarter-inch thick laser-cut steel for robust strength and durability. CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles and replacement tie rod ends maintain proper steering angles and ESC system compatibility, while components feature corrosion-resistant finishes such as silver powder coat on shocks and heavy-duty skid plates for off-road protection, combining functionality with rugged aesthetics.
Installation. Installation is moderately difficult, requiring approximately 10 hours to complete. Specialty tools such as a grinder, sanding disc, and reciprocating saw are necessary. Trimming may be required to achieve proper clearance when fitting larger tires.
Warranty. This lift kit includes a Factory Protection Plus drivetrain warranty for peace of mind.
