The BD Power Allison Transmission with Pressure Controller, including an $1800 core charge, is designed to enhance drivetrain durability by offering upgraded components capable of handling higher torque loads. It serves as a direct replacement to improve performance and reliability for demanding applications where the stock transmission may fall short.

      Construction and Appearance. This unit features BD's aluminum heavy-duty deep transmission pan, which increases oil capacity by 3.5 quarts to improve cooling. It incorporates an increased steel mass for better heat dissipation and high-energy friction materials in multiple clutch packs. The finish is an industrial-grade durable metallic aluminum.

      Installation. Installation requires professional experience and typically takes about 9 hours. No drilling is necessary, however, the BD torque converter must be installed simultaneously to maintain warranty validity.

      Warranty. This product includes a 36-month/150,000-mile parts warranty and a 12-month/24,000-mile labor warranty, excluding coverage for race abuse.

      Application. Engineered to fit 2011-2016 4WD 6.6L LML Duramax Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD trucks, with no noted exceptions.
