The BD Power Allison 1000 Transmission, featuring an $1800 core charge included, is a heavy-duty replacement designed to significantly increase the longevity and reliability of your drivetrain. It is engineered to withstand higher torque loads and extreme conditions, making it essential for demanding truck applications. This transmission ensures smooth operation and improved performance for your vehicle.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. This transmission is constructed with a BD aluminum HD deep pan that increases oil capacity by 3.5 quarts, enhancing cooling and lubrication. It includes high energy friction components, revised oil circuits for better hydraulic flow, and upgraded valve systems to optimize hydraulic pressure and clutch engagement. The design emphasizes durability and features increased clutch capacity across several clutch packs to handle heavier loads.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation typically requires around 7 hours and does not usually involve drilling or modifications. It is a direct-fit replacement; however, the use of the BD torque converter during installation is mandatory to maintain warranty coverage.
_x000D__x000D_Warranty. The transmission comes with a 36-month/150,000-mile parts warranty and a 12-month/24,000-mile labor warranty. Please note that race abuse is excluded from warranty coverage.
