Description
Electronic Exhaust Brake. The BD Power Exhaust Brake is designed to enhance towing control on RAM 2500 and 3500 trucks by providing up to 150 retarding horsepower through an inline installation into the existing aftermarket 5-inch exhaust system. It allows drivers to maintain use of the OEM dash button for activation, delivering improved vehicle speed management on steep downhill grades and confidence during towing.
Durable Cast Iron Construction. Built from cast iron to endure extreme heat cycles, this exhaust brake provides long-lasting durability. Its advanced variable orifice technology ensures precise back pressure regulation across a wide RPM range, offering consistent engine braking performance without requiring additional components such as air compressors.
Simple Installation. Installation typically requires about three hours and involves integrating the brake inline with the aftermarket exhaust system with no drilling necessary. This makes it an accessible upgrade for professional installers and experienced enthusiasts alike.
Parts And Labor Warranty. This product includes a 24-month or 24,000-mile warranty on parts and a 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty on labor, ensuring quality and reliability.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 2007.5 to 2012 RAM 2500 and 3500 models equipped with the 6.7L Cummins engine. Engine tuning is required to retain brake function. This product is not legal for sale on licensed California vehicles due to state emissions regulations.
