Description
Electronic Exhaust Brake. The BD Power Exhaust Brake for Aftermarket 4-Inch Exhaust Systems is engineered to improve your towing control by delivering up to 150 retarding horsepower. This electronic exhaust brake enhances vehicle deceleration without the need for an air compressor, offering greater reliability and lower maintenance. It is ideal for drivers who require consistent engine braking performance, especially on steep descents.
Durable Cast Iron Construction. Manufactured from sturdy cast iron, this exhaust brake endures intense heat cycles to provide long-lasting service life. Integrated with advanced variable orifice technology, it offers precise back pressure regulation across the RPM range for dependable and uniform braking performance.
Installation Requirements. Installation takes approximately three hours and involves inline fitting into the existing exhaust system. This design eliminates the need for an air compressor or airlines, simplifying the installation process. Engine tuning is required to retain full brake functionality.
Warranty Coverage. Comes with a 24-month or 24,000-mile parts warranty and a 12-month or 12,000-mile labor warranty.
Application. This exhaust brake fits 2007.5-2012 6.7L RAM 2500/3500 models. It is not available for licensed California vehicles.
