      Description

      Enhanced Transmission Reliability. The BD Power Roadmaster 10R80 Transmission, including an $1800 core charge, is engineered to improve the durability and performance of stock or lightly modified F-150 trucks. It resolves common issues found in factory units and delivers smoother, more reliable shifting for long-term use, making it an ideal upgrade or replacement option to eliminate known failures.

      Construction and Appearance. This transmission features a brand-new modified valve body and a ProForce torque converter with proprietary friction material. It includes a new deep sump transmission oil pan that holds an additional 2 quarts of fluid to help control temperatures. The assembly incorporates new OEM clutches and steels to maintain factory-level quality and finish, with a revised CDF drum retaining feature to prevent sleeve failures common on OEM units.

      Installation. Installation requires moderate automotive skill and takes approximately 11 hours and 30 minutes. It does not require drilling, but a Ford scanner or compatible diagnostic device is necessary to update the transmission control module for proper operation.

      Warranty. This product includes a 24-month or 100,000-mile parts warranty and a 12-month or 24,000-mile labor warranty.

      Application. Specifically designed to fit 2018-2020 4WD Ford F-150 trucks equipped with 2.7L or 3.5L EcoBoost engines. It is not compatible with Raptor, Roush models, or Expedition and Navigator vehicles featuring electronic shift knobs.
